FAQ

Porsche Sell Direct offers a straightforward and transparent listing process that lets you list your Porsche in just minutes through a simple step-by-step guide. You can manage your listing via the web or our app, available for both iOS and Android, and receive real-time offers from Official Porsche Centres across Australia. The platform provides a safe and contactless selling experience, giving you the flexibility to accept the highest offer on the go, with no obligation to sell if your reserve price isn’t met.

No, Porsche Sell Direct is a free service.

We have created a simple step-by-step guide you can access by either continuing through your web browser or download our easy to use app.

Start by providing your state, registration number, location, and odometer reading. Then follow our simple step-by-step process to answer questions and use the Porsche Sell Direct app’s guided photo inspection. You can pause and continue your listing anytime.

Once your details are confirmed, your vehicle is listed in our auction platform. Depending on your vehicle’s age, it may be listed twice—first to our Porsche dealership centres, then to a wider Porsche approved network, or both marketplaces simultaneously.

The auctions are non-binding, meaning it’s entirely up to you as the seller whether or not to accept an offer, regardless of whether it is above or below your reserve price.

This is the amount you are prepared to sell your Porsche for.  Please note this is a dealer only marketplace - you are not selling to consumers. Factoring in a realistic price expectation will allow buyers to understand if your car is on the market or within your price expectation range. You can accept or decline at anytime during the auction process.

After accepting your offer, you will receive a confirmation of sale email with a detailed seller’s checklist. From here, you can coordinate directly with the buyer to arrange your final inspection, transfer of funds, and delivery or collection of your Porsche.

If an offer doesn’t meet your price expectations, a 24-hour counteroffer process commences. The top three buyers are invited to submit new offers. You can then choose to accept or reject the new offers. The process is two way, which allows you to negotiate with your buyers.

If your Porsche doesn’t receive any offers, it may be relisted for a second auction to our wider Porsche approved network.

All Porsche models are eligible to be offered for sale on the platform.

Yes, you can sell classic cars. It is important to note that vehicles with high mileage or multiple owners may receive fewer or no offers.

Yes, you can sell a Porsche with pre-existing damage when properly disclosed. Offers will be dependent on condition. Pre-existing damage will need to be examined by the buyer prior to funds transfer and collection. It should be noted that the probability of receiving an offer is lower for vehicles with damage.
